A professional skin consultation and advanced skin analysis give you a more complete understanding of your skin. Your appointment takes into account your goals, concerns, medical history, previous treatments and lifestyle, alongside a detailed scan using the Derma-Vu skin analysis machine.
The scanner uses eight types of light to assess up to 17 skin concerns, including:

Your appointment includes a cleanse, skin scan and consultation with our nurse-led team. You will leave with a clearer understanding of your skin, tailored recommendations and professional skincare samples.

What to expect at your skin assessment
Your appointment begins with a cleanse before a series of facial images are taken using the Derma-Vu skin scanner. Different lighting modes reveal different concerns, including issues
that may not be visible in normal light.
Your practitioner will then talk you through the findings of your analysis and discuss suitable skincare and treatment options based on your skin, goals and medical history. You will have the chance to ask questions throughout.

You will be seated in front of the Derma-Vu skin scanner, which takes photographs of your face using eight different types of light, including daylight, UV and polarised light. Each one reveals different information about your skin.
The scan produces a detailed report that highlights key areas of concern. We use this, together with information gathered during your initial consultation, to create a personalised treatment plan. We will explain any recommended treatments, likely costs, expected results, possible side effects and downtime. There is no obligation to proceed.
