The most common type of filler
For Hyaluronic Acid (HA) fillers, the most common type of filler, dissolving is typically done by injecting an enzyme called hyaluronidase into the treated area. Hyaluronidase works by breaking down hyaluronic acid, allowing the body to absorb and naturally eliminate it. The effects are often noticeable within 48 hours, although it may take longer in some cases, or require multiple treatments if the filler is dense or deeply injected.
Dermal Filler Dissolving
Dermal fillers usually last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years, depending on the type of filler, area treated and individual factors such as metabolism. Maintenance appointments may be recommended to keep your results looking fresh.
